The TGT1 interfaced directly with our data logger's CS I/O port. This transmitter supported U.S. transmission channels, and featured an output level of +40 dBm (10 Watts) and a transmission rate of 100 bits/second. Typically, 118 data points were transmitted during a 1-minute transmit window.
阅读更多The TGT1 had an average quiescent current drain of 9 mA and an active current drain of 2200 mA. The transmitter's forward/reflected power could be measured by the data logger. A large reflected power indicated a possible problem in the equipment and Campbell Scientific should be contacted.
Power Supply
Typical power supply was a BP12 12-Ahr or BP24 24-Ahr battery, CH12R regulator, and a 10-watt solar panel. A user-supplied deep-cycle rechargeable battery was used when it was difficult to replace the batteries or the system's power requirements were large. The deep-cycle rechargeable battery should have at least a 60 Ahr capacity, and be trickle-charged with an 20 W solar panel.
User-supplied Equipment
The TGT1 was replaced by the SAT HDR GOES, which was replaced with the TX312.

The TGT1 is programmed with the star pound (*#) mode and Instruction 99 (CR10, 21X) or Instruction 120 (CR23X, CR10X, CR510, CR500). The star pound (*#) mode establishes and edits parameters, displays status information, and performs test transmissions. The *# mode is accessed through the data logger's keyboard. Use of the CR10X, CR10, CR510, or CR500 requires the CR10KD keyboard display. Instruction 99 or 120 automatically synchronizes the data logger's clock with the transmitter's, transfers the data logger's data to the transmitter's buffer, and designates an input location for the forward/reflected power measurement.
