The 16980 Surge Suppressor Kit can help protect our narrow-band radios from electrical transients conducted through the antenna cable. The kit contains an 18 in. coaxial cable that attaches the radio to the kit's surge suppressor. The other end of the surge suppressor attaches to the antenna cable (purchased separately).

The 16980 Surge Suppressor Kit can help protect our narrow-band radios from electrical transients conducted through the antenna cable. The kit contains an 18-inch coaxial cable that attaches the radio to the kit's surge suppressor. The other end of the surge suppressor attaches to the antenna cable (purchased separately).
The 16980 Surge Suppressor Kit includes the following:
- Surge Suppressor (PolyPhaser® or similar). The surge suppressor is fitted with two type N female connectors.
- 18-inch RG58/U Coaxial Cable that connects the surge suppressor to the radio (fitted with BNC connector).
- pn 4335 ground wire (1.5 ft length)
- Screws and grommets that secure the ground wire and surge suppressor to an enclosure backplate

Compatibility
