1. Why don’t mixed-array data logger tables show up in the Data Filer table selection window?

   LoggerNetdoesn’t know which tables are available in mixed-array data loggers unless the program is identified by associating it. If no tables show up in theData Filertable selection window, check that there is a program associated with the data logger inLoggerNet. This can be done on the Program tab of theLoggerNet Setupscreen. Also, verify these two things:

   1. Scheduled collection is enabled (on the Schedule tab of theLoggerNet Setupscreen).
   2. FS Area 1 is enabled (and FS Area2 if memory is being specifically allocated to it) for collection. This information is found on the respective tabs in theLoggerNet SetupScreen.

   WhenLoggerNet Adminis set up, the user is asked to enter a user name. The user can enter something that is recognizable by a corporate network.

3. Will a patch for LoggerNet 4.0 apply to LoggerNet Admin 4.0 as well?

   Yes. The patch should update the install to version 4.1 Admin, as long as the previous installation was installed as Admin with the correct license key.

   All data and settings should remain following the upgrade fromLoggerNettoLoggerNet Admin. The file formats and locations are exactly the same between the two products. No information in the configuration should be lost or reset.

5. Where is there information about the revisions to the LoggerNet software?

   TheLoggerNetrevision history information can be found through the “Software and OS Revision Histories” web page. Revision history information is available forLoggerNetpatches and upgrades, as well as for the trial versions of the software.

6. If LoggerNet Admin is installed on a server that is configured to have multiple users logged in at the same time, how can more than one user have LoggerNet open at a time?

   The server/client architecture ofLoggerNetallows for multiple clients to access theLoggerNetserver.

7. Is it possible to use LoggerNet Admin software to connect to, and display data from, multiple data loggers?

   Yes.LoggerNet Adminallows for opening multiple instances of theConnectscreen and connecting to multiple data loggers, as long as there is no conflict between the communications devices.

8. Can the server and client portions of LoggerNet Admin for Windows be run on separate machines?

   No.LoggerNet Adminis installed on a single computer. To run clients or remote portions on another PC, it is necessary to purchase an additionalLoggerNet AdminorLoggerNet Remotelicense.

9. Are there any free trial versions of LoggerNet Admin?

   There is a free trial version ofLoggerNet, but there is not one forLoggerNet Admin.

    LoggerNet Admincontains all of the capabilities ofLoggerNet Remote.Additional copies ofLoggerNet Remoteare purchased separately. Because using different versions ofLoggerNetandLoggerNet Remotecan result in issues, Campbell Scientific recommends purchasing theLoggerNet AdminUpgrade.
